• In 1966 graduated from geologic-geographical faculty of the Azerbaijan State University and acquired qualification of the engineer-geologist
• Mamedov M.N. trained 2 candidates of sciences
• At present he is scientific leader of 1 post-graduated student and 2 candidates for a degree
• Author of more than 100 scientific works and 9 monographs
