  • Since 1962 after finishing ASU worked in institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences
  • Has finished postgraduate study of Siberian branch the Academy of Sciences of the USSR
  • In 1969 has protected the master's thesis in Moskow State University, in 1989 - the thesis for a doctor's degree at the Leningrad State University
  • Member International Crystallographic Societies.
  • Since 2000 the academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences

EDUCATION AND ACADEMIC DEGREES OBTAINED

  • In 1962 graduated from Azerbaijan State University
  • In 1969 has protected the master's thesis on a theme «The crystal structure of kanasite and delkhayelite»
  • In 1989 - the thesis for a doctor's degree on a theme «Comparative crystallochemistry Ca and rare-earth silicates»

COMPLETE PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

  • Since 1962 worked in a post of the younger scientific employee in Institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences. With 1966 on 1969 it was trained in postgraduate study of Siberian branch of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR of Institute of Inorganic Chemistry in Novosibirsk
  • With 1971 worked in a post of the senior teacher, since 1987 of the senior lecturer on faculty of Minerals of Baku State University, and about 1990 of the professor of the department of the Crystallography, mineralogy and geochemistry and since 2006 - the chief of this department
  • Crystallography, crystallochemistry, mineralogy and geochemistry
  • The author more than 200 scientific works,
  • The author of 3 monographies,
  • The author of 5 textbooks,
  • Has prepared 7 candidates of sciences
  • Has established in silicates more than 20 new structural types. On the basis of allocated by it parent structural minals, has proved an orientation of transformations in structures of silicates and alumosilicates

  • Comparative crystallochemistry structures of silicates and alumosilicates, crystallochemical aspects of transformations of minerals and inorganic connections

  • Participated in the International conferences and symposiums which were carried in Moscow, Ottawa, Warsaw, Sofia, Budapest and in Turkey
