• He was born in 1955 in Amasia region.
• In 1972 he graduated mechanic-mathematical faculty of Azerbaijan State University.
• From 1977 he works at the Azergeophysics SRI.
• Since 1977 for 2002 he works on various positions: engineer, junior scientific researcher, senior scientific researcher, leading scientific researcher, head of the laboratory, scientific secretary.
• In 2003 has been appointed director of Geophysics SRI.
• From 1999 he is engaged in pedagogical activity in BSU. He is head of department “Seismology and physics of the Earth” of geological faculty.
• Married.

EDUCATION AND ACADEMIC DEGREES OBTAINED

• In 1977 he graduated of Azerbaijan State University;
• In 1990 he depended dissertation on theme “Development of methods for direct exploration of oil and gas deposits by seismic survey by refraction-shooting methods”;
• In 2003 is given assistant professor.

COMPLETE PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

• Works in Geophysics SRI and BSU;
• Since 1999 he is head of department “Seismology and physics of the Earth” of geological faculty;
• “The general geophysics”, “Geological interpretation of geophysical data”;
• The author of 78 articles, 8 inventions and 1 patent;
• In 2004 was decorated by medal of “Taraggi”.

PRESENT RESEARCH INTERESTS

• Seismology, seismic prospecting, gravity prospecting, study of a geological structure, direct exploration of oil and gas deposits by geophysical methods
